Hej Då till MTC- Week 7

This week has been so much fun! I leave the MTC on friday morning to take a bus to Salt Lake to serve there until my visa is ready. My new P-day will be on Monday so there should be another email semi-soon. I feel like so much has happened but I’m having trouble remembering. I’ll just put some bullet points

Me and my companions went to the gym today and played basketball and volleyball, and we realized that we had a teaching appointment in five minuetes so we ran all the way back to our dorm and put on a sweater and gave the lesson, still in our basketball shoes. It was a funny experience. I’ll try to remember to put a picture at the bottom.
We also have had a lot of goodbyes this week. I’ve now said goodbye to 3 of my 4 teachers, and I say goodbye to the last one tonight. This actually has been really sad, I’ve grown to love my teachers and each of them has had a lasting impact on me here at the MTC. I am not looking forward to saying bye to the friends I’ve made and my district, that will be very sad.
on the bright side, my swedish is getting better and better! It is obviously still very far from perfect, but i am seeing steady progression which is nice to see at least.
last week i had the really cool opportunity to be companions with my good friend Elder Stubbs for a day! his companions left early on thursday morning and Stubby didn’t leave until Friday. So… he came with me all day! it was pretty cool to be with him and it was funny to see him in Swedish class when he didn't understand anything. Now he knows how I feel 95 percent of the time. But it was cool, I’m not sure how many people can say that they were companions with one of their best friends from college who is going to a different mission and language, for a day. It was kind of sad to see how close he got to my district after only two classes with them, and their goodbye was surprisingly sad. It was sad to say bye to Stubby.
On Sunday I gave a talk along with two other people in my district, (shout out to Sister McCombs and Sister Renfro they killed it) and after the talk my district sang a Swedish hymn for our last Sunday. It was a super cool experience but two things made it so much cooler. 1- the sisters in my district wrote an extra verse in Swedish which was so cool and impressive (they're very smart if you haven't guessed that yet). 2- we have people speaking sign language in our ward and the translator for them translated the song!! We asked her after and she served her mission in Sweden and was able to translate swedish to English to ASL. It was super cool.
The past couple weeks it's been hard to go to sleep on time just because it's so much fun to talk to people on our floor. I'm gonna miss them for sure.
The Swedish flag and the Turkish flag were next to each other this week which was cool because that's where my sister will hopefully serve. (She's speaking Turkish but is going to Germany for now because Turkey is closed for missionaries right now)

I’m sure that there are things that I’m forgetting, but oh well. I’ve had a great week! I’m sad but ready to leave the MTC. I’m excited to see the real world and be able to walk around and teach real people about Jesus Christ.
