Temporarily reassigned to...

Because I haven’t gotten my visa yet, I’ve been temporarily reassigned to… SALT LAKE CITY! Hopefully my visa comes soon but while I wait i will be in salt lake! Everyone in my district had this happen to them too and they are going all over the country, I cant wait to see what we can accomplish in the states and in Sweden.

A lot happened this week so ill just do bullet points
-The 4th of July was yesterday and it was so fun! although I definitely was sad i wasn't home to celebrate with family and do our normal thing, the MTC tried their best to help us have a good time and I appreciated it. It was so fun to talk to my district and the guys in our zone.
-Swedish is going great. I'm slowly but surely getting it. Like it feels really slowly but at least it's progressing haha.
Me and my companions had a teaching appointment in Swedish and we got stood up haha. It was fine though we just watched our first helping others and saw how much we have grown over the past month.
-It's been super cool to see my friends and family around the MTC. One of my best friends Jared (Elder Thompson) came today and it was great to see him. I also see my twin sister everyday and its such a tender mercy!!
-I had to say bye to one of my swedish teachers the other day, Brother Jensen. It was actually so sad. He was a really good teacher to me and I felt like we had a cool connection because we are both from Oklahoma and got called to Sweden and we have similar interests.
-I can't express how much I've grown to love the people at the MTC. My district is continuing to be great and the Elders in my zone are hilarious.
-Brad Wilcox gave a devotional here yesterday and it was one of the best talks I've ever heard. He talked about faith and his story of figuring out his relationship with God. My favorite thing he said was, "Faith isn't just knowing that God can, it's understanding why sometimes he doesn't"
-We've been doing English fasts where we only speak Swedish and it's hilarious to me. We can barley say anything so we act a lot of things out. But it's super helping for sure.
-On Sunday, we all fasted for our visas and that we can learn Swedish better, we heard later that all the missionaries in Sweden fasted for our visas! How cool is that?!

Please keep praying for my visa please, I'm excited for salt lake but I'm more excited for Sweden haha. They need missionaries there!

Trust God! He is real and loves you. Out of all of his numberless children in infinite worlds, he loves you and knows you perfectly.

Thanks for all your prayers, I love you all! Please reach out, I can only respond to stuff on wednesdays for now though.
