Curious George and Canadian Ranches

i am currently writing this email while my companion monitoring a Bidding war for his families ranch in British Columbia, and i think it is the funniest thing ever. This week has been so great! I'm growing to love the people I serve more and more.

The highlight of my week actually just happened this morning. I got my invitation to go to the Swedish Embassy in Washington D.C!! for those of you who don't know this is a necessary step in getting a visa for Sweden. This is the first thing I've heard in nearly 4 and a half months about my visa so I'm so happy. I don't have it yet though so keep the prayers coming haha.

One of the most random parts of the week is my zone leaders, me, and my companion have gotten into checkers. It sounds so lame but its actually been fun. The only problem is that we all get crazy competitive over these stupid checkers games and it has caused some tension.

I don't know how many of you saw but last Sunday I shaved my head and got a buzz cut, and the reason I mention this is because my new nickname among the missionaries here is "Curious George '' they say I look like him with the haircut. I dont really see it but I also think its hilarious, so for all you thinking when you read the title of this email, "how on earth is he gonna mention Curious George in this email?!" I respond to you, "gotcha sucka"

also for those of you who are missionaries who are learning languages, not to brag but I hit level 9 in embark. ( a language learning app) Now, this might not seem that impressive but I was like level 2 when I left the MTC. I'm sure most of you are far ahead of me and are level 50 or something but just let me enjoy my progress you guys.

Anyway, I know a lot more happened this week but I can't really remember it. My old Seminary teacher (shoutout sister Hickman and Sister Warner) told me that they're gonna start reading parts of our emails in seminary class so I gotta make sure I add a way better spiritual thought than my two other siblings who are on missions.
spiritual thought- This week we talked a lot about ways of finding people to teach. One way that sticks out to me a lot is talking with everyone. this can be a hard point for a lot of people and I happen to be one of them. So i was interested to read in Preach My Gospel that we need to develop a love for these people and as I love them I will want to talk to everyone. I can definitely say that as I've exercised my faith this week in trying to talk to everyone and love everyone, I've gotten more and more comfortable and eager to talk to every single person I see about this great message. I can Invite all of you to be eager to share this great gospel with as many people as you can. I'll leave the PMG quote below:)
Develop a deep desire to bring souls to Christ (see Mosiah 28:3). When you feel this desire, your love and concern will be reflected in your efforts to find. Your love will also be reflected in your conversations.

Love you all!! please reach out! I appreciate all of the emails, I'm sorry if I don't respond sometimes P-Days can get very busy but I promise I read all of them! God is good!
