Going to D.C. on the...

Sorry that this email is so late, that's my bad. After I sent my email last week I started to feel sick and gross because I played basketball and that happened today too! So that's two weeks in a row for those who are keeping track at home. Might have to stop hooping on mondays... nah I could never.

I got my invite to DC last week and I got my travel plans! I leave August 30th and like 11:45 PM and fly through the night to DC and I fly back to Utah overnight the next night. It should be a fun trip and a cool experience to jailbreak my mission boundaries haha.

I went on exchanges this last week and I had the best experience!! We pulled up to this guys house and he was so upset. He talked to us about how hard is life is right now. His name is Will. We got the opportunity to talk to Will for like an hour and just answer his questions about life! He told us how he struggles with smoking, and for some reason the scripture Ether 12:27 came into my mind and we read it together. This verse talks about how through Christ our weaknesses can become our strengths. I promised him that if he came to Christ he could eventually get to the point where he doesn't even want to smoke. That it would become his strength. That was a MIRACLE! You guys know that I normally don't have scriptures pop into my head like that. It was such a powerful experience and I definitely saw God work through me that day. God is who promised him that, he just did it through me. We also taught Will how to pray and he repented right in front of us!! What a cool experience.

Our friend Oscar in on date to be baptized!! I'm so happy and excited for him. It was the best feeling to hear him say yes to that and he came to church on Sunday! I'm so filled with joy, it's a special privilege to help others come unto Christ. I am beyond lucky with this chance to serve.

I'm sure more happened this week but idk what else to write. I love and think of you guys everyday! God is good and Jesus really did die for each of us. Like for real it happened. Email me!

Every transfer (6 week period) we do this thing called an engelska fast or english fast for those of you who didn't guess haha. This means that we try our best to go a full week without any english which is really cool and pretty difficult. But why do it? There are a few reasons, the main few - i want to prove i can do it - i want (need) to improve my swedish lol - we are rewarded with a movie at the end of the week that we watch in swedish. So the first time I tried decently hard at this english fast, i got blessed. WE GOT TO WATCH CARS. It was so hype and much needed. The title of the email is what Lightning McQueen says, it means "I am speed" (speed = fart in swedish🤣🤣) i laughed a little too hard and a little too long at that haha This week was very good! 20 years old!

Dang two decades. Hey everyone! I wanted to start this off this week by just expressing my gratitude. So many of you sent me super nice stuff for my birthday, thank you for all the birthday wishes. Its hard to be away from home on a birthday but you guys made my day so good for real! I read all the messages and ill try my best to respond tonight❤️. Let me briefly tell you about my week. - last monday we played basketball (suprise) and it was delightful. We also played this chair soccer game and its ruthless but a blast. - zone conference was on Tuesday! I always love zone conference for a few reasons, i get to see my friends and it is always a spiritual experience. One thing we talked about was putting ourselves in the shoes of the Nephites when Jesus Christ came to visit them in 3 Nephi 11. He talked to each person one by one. What would i say to him? Stockholm, Halmstad, and Copenhagen🫢

  Hey everyone! Happy Monday😁. Life is good here in Sweden! It was a good and weird week so here is some stuff we did. Sooooo as the title suggests i traveled around a lot this week actually. On Tuesday i took the 4 and 1/2 hour train ride to Stockholm to do splits there.  -Stockholm was beautiful as always :) i hope i get the opportunity to serve in the Stockholm zone at some point. I was with Elder Belnap for the day and golly is he a good missionary. It was a cool learning experience.  - we went to some random barbecue with a recent member in Täby and it was the funniest experience of my life. We showed up and they had brought a little grill to a fire pit because they couldnt get the fire going and it was just us, the Täby sister missionaries, the recent convert and her british friend. I dont really know why it was so funny to me but the new member kept trying to give us food and had a take a bunch of pictures (literally throughout the whole barbecue) with the sisters...
