LUCIA🕯

 Hey everyone!

Im currently writing this on a train to Stockholm 🤑. We have julkonferens (Christmas conference) on Tuesday so we are traveling down today so i can see Stockholm for the first time!! This week was pretty cool.

Here are some quick highlights
- it was birthday week!! My brother Grants birthday was the 14th, my brother Declan and Äldste Sannemanns birthdays were the 15th, and our friend Andrii who got baptized, was the 16th. (Also hes fighting the deportation so we'll see what happens 💪)
- Lucia!!! This was a super cool experience. Lucia is a Swedish tradition/holiday and its to celebrate the darkest time of the year. There are lots of candles and songs about Jesus and stuff so you really cant go wrong with those two haha. I didnt do a great job of explaining what it is so just look at the videos and pictures on my google photos or look it up😛.
- Äldste Sannemann was called for zone leader duties again this week with splits, so i was on splits with the Östersund greenies again and it went pretty well. We had some new people come to our language cafe and so that was fun to teach people swedish who know more swedish than us lol. It was actually super fun.
- our friend invited us to see his baptist church so we went with him and it was actually pretty fun. They were lots of nice people and i made a couple friends (this one kid told me he would "cross me up") . They have songs going constantly and not so much "talks" like we have in our church. The songs were pretty cool though... maybe we can introduce that to our church more hahahaha.
- we went caroling with our ward and it was super awesome!! We visited a lot of lonely members and were able to sing and give them cookies. The youth really wanted to carol "mistletoe" from Justin Bebier and it was hilarious but definitely a bit cringy to sing "shawty with you" to a 70 year old swedish women who had no idea what we were saying. I am grateful for this experience and i will remember it for sure.

I love you all and would love to get an email from each of you! I probably cant respond because ill be in Stockholm all day but know ill read all of it :) i hope you have a great week and remember the reason for the season, Jesus Christ.
