Curious George returns😔
Hej hej allihopa! This week was good. I thought i would be punctual this week and send my email out in the morning so i can hopefully be better at responding to these💀. Here is some stuff that happened this week.
-I got a haircut. It was definitely, an experience lol. My barber was an Elder in my district who happens to also be from Australia like my companion. He cut hair before his mission and assured me he would do a good job. Well its not the worst haircut ever but definitely not great haha. Don’t get me wrong at all, im always grateful for a free haircut but trust me my hat has been on all week. Also hence the title, my hair is borderline buzzed and i once again look like Curious George🐵🍌
- Äldste Sannemann had a lot of splits this week (where he goes into other missionaries areas and goes with them for a day) so it was mostly me and Äldste Curtis. It actually went surprisingly well. My swedish is by no means good and i definitely have a strong accent (as Äldste Curtis is quick to tell me lol) but its been cool to see my progression and be able to lead an area and train another missionary. It is quite literally only through God i am able to do this. God is real!
- We have been seeing tons of miracles in our missionary work! We currently have 2 people on baptismal date and two more people close👀. Its also been cool to see God prepare people.
- I was sick this week. Ive been feeling off and super sick on Friday. It was weird to be in bed that long. It was the first time in nearly 8 months ive relaxed like that on my mission. Super weird but thankfully i felt good enough the next day to do some missionary work.
- We taught one of our friends and she has been having a hard time with loneliness and sadness and its been cool to teach her about how we can find joy in God. It has made me realize how grateful i am for a loving Heavenly Father who wants to bless me! A lot of times its easy to forget our divine identities as sons and daughters of God. Its something important to remember! When we remember that our perspectives of ourselves and everyone else change!!
Gud Älskar dig.
Jag Älskar dig.
-Äldste Jackson Calder
