Divorce 😔

 Hey everybody. 

This week was interesting. We've had lots of cool experiences. We went to our friends house to have a lesson with him and he didn't answer the door and he said he was in England. We were a little bummed but while we were walking back to the car we met someone who really wanted to meet with us again. God works in mysterious ways and its important we trust his plans.

One hard thing from this week is it felt like a lot of the people who actually stopped to talk to us only wanted to argue. I feel this spirit vanish the second i start kind of arguing back. My new favorite thing is just telling people God loves them when they say something mean to me. It normally throws them off and they get confused haha.

Other things that happened this week
- One of our friends told us she doesnt want to go to heaven because she doesnt want to be "greedy and think about that" . So thats been fun to talk about
- we have to push one of our friends baptismal date back a few weeks.
- Sweden has been so pretty this week! This email has had a pretty sad vibe so far but one thing that made me super happy this week was just Sweden.  Its so pretty here! I will never get used to it. The sun was out for a few days this week and it was gorgeous.
- we went northern light hunting. We didnt find anything lol but it was fun to look for them.
- one dude told us we could meet again and whoever proves the other ones religion wrong has to join their church. I might be muslim next week if i dont Study up fr😵‍💫
- I got to teach primary yesterday! It was so chaotic. It kind of reminded me of home haha so it was nice. We were in charge of singing time so you best believe we sang some banger church songs. Even in the primary my song choice in unmatched. DJ Äldste Calder🥶😱

The hardest part about this week was saying goodbye to Äldste Sannemann. He has been struggling with mental health stuff for a while now so he and President Lake decided it would be best if he went home to figure it out. Its been hard for me to adjust without him but i cant help but look back on our nearly 6 months together. From when we started in the MTC together and then when he trained me in Sweden. He has become one of my best friends ever in such a quick time. He's been a great example of working hard no matter the circumstances. I feel beyond lucky to have been with him and he has changed my mission and my life. Im grateful he had the courage to go home and figure stuff out. He did more in 8 months than lots of missionaries do in their whole missions. Luh u sannemann

Because of this its just me and my greenie Äldste Curtis which has been interesting. Hes a good missionary and friend. Just no Äldste Sannemann haha. Also thats why i named the email divorced because my Co-dad left so im a single parent to my greenie haha

Ok im nearly done, i just wanted to share a verse i read in my personal study this week that absolutely got my hyped. Its in Alma 42:31
" And now, O my son, ye are called of God to preach the word unto this people. And now, my son, go thy way, declare the word with truth and soberness, that thou mayest bring souls unto repentance, that the great plan of mercy may have claim upon them. And may God grant unto you even according to my words. Amen."
I felt like God was talking to me through this verse. We can all be missionaries! Be the light in someones life this week!

Every transfer (6 week period) we do this thing called an engelska fast or english fast for those of you who didn't guess haha. This means that we try our best to go a full week without any english which is really cool and pretty difficult. But why do it? There are a few reasons, the main few - i want to prove i can do it - i want (need) to improve my swedish lol - we are rewarded with a movie at the end of the week that we watch in swedish. So the first time I tried decently hard at this english fast, i got blessed. WE GOT TO WATCH CARS. It was so hype and much needed. The title of the email is what Lightning McQueen says, it means "I am speed" (speed = fart in swedish🤣🤣) i laughed a little too hard and a little too long at that haha This week was very good! 20 years old!

Dang two decades. Hey everyone! I wanted to start this off this week by just expressing my gratitude. So many of you sent me super nice stuff for my birthday, thank you for all the birthday wishes. Its hard to be away from home on a birthday but you guys made my day so good for real! I read all the messages and ill try my best to respond tonight❤️. Let me briefly tell you about my week. - last monday we played basketball (suprise) and it was delightful. We also played this chair soccer game and its ruthless but a blast. - zone conference was on Tuesday! I always love zone conference for a few reasons, i get to see my friends and it is always a spiritual experience. One thing we talked about was putting ourselves in the shoes of the Nephites when Jesus Christ came to visit them in 3 Nephi 11. He talked to each person one by one. What would i say to him? Stockholm, Halmstad, and Copenhagen🫢

  Hey everyone! Happy Monday😁. Life is good here in Sweden! It was a good and weird week so here is some stuff we did. Sooooo as the title suggests i traveled around a lot this week actually. On Tuesday i took the 4 and 1/2 hour train ride to Stockholm to do splits there.  -Stockholm was beautiful as always :) i hope i get the opportunity to serve in the Stockholm zone at some point. I was with Elder Belnap for the day and golly is he a good missionary. It was a cool learning experience.  - we went to some random barbecue with a recent member in Täby and it was the funniest experience of my life. We showed up and they had brought a little grill to a fire pit because they couldnt get the fire going and it was just us, the Täby sister missionaries, the recent convert and her british friend. I dont really know why it was so funny to me but the new member kept trying to give us food and had a take a bunch of pictures (literally throughout the whole barbecue) with the sisters...
